Too much time on my hands...
I just want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for coming out to my last few months of shows. It's been so nice seeing familiar faces. You have no idea what it means to me. The house parties, the small talks and all the kind words. You are all my friends and you're all a part of this. I've been able to survive off my own music for the last year and thats all I have ever wanted to do. The Sound CD Release sold out even without an opening act. I was kind of shocked by that one to be honest. Its all because of you guys. If you missed the show. I played for 3 hours with an acoustic set, I looped and I even brought up a backing band on a few songs. The worst part was when it was all over and I had to go home. Nights like that you want to last forever
Since I've been back I've tried to keep busy doing numerous things. I have finally gotten my dream guitar (see picture above), which I play every day for a few hours. I've been trying to catch up on movies... I saw "Nick and Norah"(my new favorite) for the second time and "Quarentine" which was pretty scary. Old people really freak me out when they have rabies. I bought the new "Indiana Jones" (why aliens, why?) and The "Incredible Hulk"(Ed Norton owns it). I've also been playing the Monopoly game at McDonald's and I keep getting the same properties. Those guys are swindlers! And last but not least I've started to record a Holiday EP.
I recorded a Christmas EP about 3 years ago and it's a little out dated so I decided to give it another go. It's been fun making new versions of songs I have known my whole life. There will be a few originals and maybe even a newer cover in the mix as well.
I take off on tour again in December w/ Jonathan Jones. We should be going from Seattle to LA. Dates will be posted shortly. I will have the Holiday EP for sale at every show. It will only be $5. Please don't forget about me while I'm hibernating. I will see you all real soon.

THE CD RELEASE, NEW DVD, MUSIC VIDEO and FALL TOUR!
So it's been a pretty crazy month. I like keeping busy so it's been really nice to keep the momentum going. This is my favorite time of year for sure. There are tons of exciting things happening in the next few weeks that I cannot wait for everyone to see.
I start my Fall Tour next week and I will be selling "The Sound" at every show. I'll also have a brand new DVD called "Past, Present and Future". My friend Shane Cottle has shot over a year and a half of footage and I think we've come up with something very special. From the title you might have guessed it has old, and new live performances and in HD no less. Half the fall tour will be with my friends from We Shot The Moon and the other half will be with my buddy Benton Paul. There will be new merch on sale and I will be playing brand new songs. So come out if you can!
I just finished shooting a music video for "The Sound". It was my first big budget video and it was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people. Devin Graham and Jake Shwartz from Greenlight Films and their fantastic crew. As well as Niki Moe, who is a stunning actress. Instead of the typical performance video I've done in the past, we went with something a little different this time around. It had a fully scripted story line and it was shot in the really cool old house down in Provo. The video should be posted very soon. I will keep you posted.
THE SOUND CD RELEASE SHOW at Velour is less than two weeks away. Get ready for something a little different than what I've done in the past. I can't wait to see you all there.
